Start
All races will start at the Performing Arts Plaza on Wenatchee Avenue, winner of the 2003 Great American Main Street Award. We will use a wave start to eliminate congestion on the Loop Trail. Marathon walkers must start at 6:30 am. 10K and Half Marathon walkers will start normally with the runners in those categories (8 am for half marathon and 8:15 for 10K).

Saturday, April 21, 2012 (Race Day); 6:30 - 7:30 am
Location: Performing Arts Plaza (Start Line): 123 North Wenatchee Avenue.

Aid Stations
Aid stations will be approximately every two miles. Most aid stations will distribute both water and sports drinks.

Timing
Timing will be performed by Accustat, using Winning Time System electronic chip timing.

Commemoratives
All marathon and half-marathon finishers will receive custom designed medals. The participants of all events will receive custom designed tech shirts by Greenlayer commemorating their accomplishment.
Note: Entries received after March 21, 2012 are not guaranteed a participant shirt.

Age-Group Awards
Marathon and half-marathon age-group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age-groups from Under 20 to 70+.

Overall Winners Awards
Awards will be presented to the winning relay team and the overall Male and Female winners of the marathon, half-marathon and 10k.

Walkers

Walkers are encouraged to participate in any of the events. Entry fees are the same for walkers and runners. Walkers receive all the timing, commemoratives and awards referenced above. We will hold an early bird start for marathon walkers at 6:30 am at the start line. Please note that early bird walkers will not receive aid station benefits until after the race has started (8 am).

Parking
Please park on Columbia Street behind Arlberg Sports and the Convention Center (at the start/finish line) or on Wenatchee Avenue south of the Performing Arts Center.
