Start
All races will start at the Performing Arts Plaza on Wenatchee Avenue, winner of the 2003 Great American Main Street Award. We will use a wave start to eliminate congestion on the Loop Trail. Half-marathon will start at 8 am. Marathon and 10K will start at 8:15. Walkers are stongly encouraged to start at 6:30 a.m.
Packet Pickup & Registration
Friday, April 16, 2010; 5 pm - 7 pm
Location: Arlberg Sports, 25 N. Wenatchee Avenue.
Saturday, April 17, 2010 (Race Day); 6:30 - 7:30 am
Location: Performing Arts Plaza (Start Line): 123 North Wenatchee Avenue.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be approximately every two miles. Most aid stations will distribute both water and sports drink.
Timing
Timing will be performed by Accustat, using Winning Time System electronic chip timing.
Commemoratives
All marathon and half-marathon finishers will receive custom designed medals. The participants of all events will receive custom designed shirts commemorating their accomplishment.
Note:
Entries received after April 10, 2010 are not guaranteed a shirt.
Age-Group Awards
Marathon and half-marathon age-group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age-groups from Under 20 to 70+.
Overall Winner Awards
Awards will be presented to the winning relay team and the overall Male and Female winners of the marathon, half-marathon and 10k.
Walkers
Walkers are encouraged to participate in any of the events. Entry fees are the same for walkers as runners. Walkers recieve all the timing, commemoratives and awards referenced above. We will hold an early bird start for marathon, half-marathon and 10k walkers at 6:30 am at the start line. We strongly encourage walkers to start early to alleviate course congestion. However, please note that early bird walkers will not recieve aid station benefits until after the race has started and EARLY BIRD WALKERS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS.
Parking
Please park on Columbia Street behind Arlberg Sports and the Convention Center (at the start/finish line) or on Wenatchee Avenue south of the Performing Arts Center.
